Visuals representing the different environments you can find in the game UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER – The Feast of the Wolves.
As an environment artist at Endroad studio, I was responsible for the rocks, vehicles and part of the human, Fleed and Vega's buildings. I also helped on some level art, especially the citadel of the planet Fleed, as well as polishing the other levels.
A great focus has been put into defining the visual identity of the rocks and cliffs, as well as keeping a strong artistic vision while maintaining a high quality standard on those assets. Since Grendizer put a great emphasis on nature, rocks have to be perfect, along with the foliage and sky, being the most important visuals with the mechas!
Huge thanks to Valentin Vigneron as the artistic director and Lilian Montmartin as the concept artist who helped me a lot getting the visuals right.
To Jefferson Frenay as the 3D artist and Hugo Barthouil as the lead 3D artist who helped me on a technical level, and who made most of the other 3D models.
To Ghjuvannu-Carlu Sozzi and Alexis Jacquemin as the level artists who created those beautiful environments with our assets.
